The rolls are especially induction hardened to 64 RC; the main barrel has 19 square grooves for wire rolling from 10 mm to 1 mm. Side extension rollers provide a total of four half-rounds of 4, 3, 2, and 1.5 mm. Safety features include an emergency stop button, safety bars at the front and rear of the mill, guards covering the extension rollers as well as guards covering the top gear.
